Choosing a wheelchair lift, or platform lift, is not as difficult as you might think. There are a few different choices when it comes to which lift to choose but the number one thing to consider is what what environment with the lift be used in.

Inclined Platform
The inclined platform is the most common, there are quite a few in use today. Installed on the railing of a set of stairs, you will see this type of lift in schools, business offices, churches and homes.
Vertical Platform
The vertical platform lift is typically found in residential applications and are custom made to fit the home. Usually place near or next to the staircase, these lifts are not attached to the staircase but are more like a home elevator.
Portable Wheelchair Lift
The portable wheelchair lift is a mobile version of the inclined platform. This type of lift is very common in smaller public activities and can be used as a lift for bleachers, stages, etc.
Portable Vertical Lift
The portable vertical lift is a mobile elevator style lift that is that can be used just about anywhere. The uses for this lift are basically the same as the portable wheelchair lift.
